I have a question about the midterm exam:
What's supposed to be the answer for the question that asked why we couldn't create an alias name for our server so that we could use that alias name instead of IP address? Who got the correct answer on this one? Please share your answer to us. Thanks.
Because the server does not have an alias assigned to its IP address on the campus DNS server.

Linux OS questions?

"When I reboot the machine, I received an error message saying I cannot start x server (graphical interface). It is likely that it is not set up correctly. Would you like to view the X server output to diagnose the problem?. I selected Yes for this but at the end, this message came back again." how can i fix this problem without reinstalling the Linux OS?
