Abstract
There are real needs from both faculties and students to have a centralized online system to support course management and study interactions. The system is developed to fulfill these requirements. Utilizing the power of AJAX (Asynchronous Java and XML) technology, the Integrated Courseware delivers an online desktop-like application that provides faculties and students a more user-friendly, faster yet powerful environment to communicate and exchange any class-related subjects including, but not limited to assignment managements, class forums and faculty’s homepage. Useful features such as class announcement, event reminder, online access to class materials allow students to plan their study ahead.
Developed using latest Microsoft technology such as ASP.NET 2.0 and SQL Server 2005, the system’s ambition is to be employed within the whole campus, strengthening the ability of faculties and students to make use of technology in order to maximize the productivity on and off campus.
