- Candidate will be trained to program Blu-Ray Disc functions using GUI-based tools enhanced with scripting languages.
- Candidate will be trained to test their own titles (software) as well as understand and approve programming created by others in the authoring group and run verification tools on finished projects to confirm industry specification compliance.

Qualifications:

[edit] NSF/NIH Funded Summer Research Opportunities for Students
Oakland University's department of Computer Science and Engineering recieves funding from the NSF and NIH to run two summer programs(UnCoRe and SIBHI) for students. The programs are 10-week experiences in reseach. UnCoRe is for undergraduate students and SIBHI is for both undergraduate and graduate students.
The undergraduate and graduate students recieve a stipend of $4,000 and $5,500 respectively, as well as meal and travel allowances. The programs are open to all non-graduating students who are US citizens or permanent residents.
