For students who are not planning to do an MS project

If you aren't planning to do an MS project (and hence do not want to write a project prospectus), then I'd like you to select a platform and build an application using it. The application can be anything that interests you. It should show off the capabilities of the platform. Clearly it won't be equivalent to an MS project. But it shouldn't be trivial either. You should spend the remainder of the quarter working on it and report on your progress when you talk to the class.
