[edit] Week 1 (09/22/07)

  • TO DO BY 09/15/07
  1. Complete typical use cases.
  2. Demo of Graffito.
  1. Check MS Project written requirements for library submission.
  2. Add blog to use cases and architecture. Blogs could be in websites outside of the system, and Fedora will track it.

[edit] Week 2 (09/29/07)

[edit] Week 3 (10/06/07)

  1. CoolStateLA on this Wiki
  2. Use Wiki template and put Use Cases on this Wiki.

[edit] Week 4 (10/13/07)

  1. Put fields in Use Case pre and post-conditions. Not found in example Use Cases, but should help in DB design.

[edit] Week 5 (10/20/07)

  1. Add Glossary.
  2. Update Assign Story Use Case to include alternative flow (video interview).

[edit] Week 6 (10/27/07)

  1. Ensure components are web accessible using a Mac and Safari.
  2. Went through STORI to understand functionality, fields, and layouts.
  3. Reviewed Update/Create News Budget Use Case. It is incorrect according to the glossary definition. Need to modify to use News Filter component.
  4. Met with Mark Luntzel to discuss requirements of News Filter component. Jon asked to select 3 apps and give pros and cons of each. Extensibility, maintainability, and future support are important criteria. I'll check that it will also integrate well with Repository and Workflow components.
  • From Mark:
http://decafbad.com/trac/wiki/FeedMagick - PHP, open source, probably
extremely ready to be heavily modified
http://gregarius.net/ - also free and web-based, this uses magpie
http://magpierss.sourceforge.net/ as its base lib
https://rome.dev.java.net/ - Java based, better unofficial reviews
from countless blog entries than Magpie
  • ROME looks most mature.
